Migraine Journal

Keeping a migraine journal can be a very helpful exercise. You can use it to track the intensity of your headaches. Are they getting better or worse, more frequent or less. But, the best use of the journal is to determine triggers. This can sometimes be a difficult task. Not only do triggers sometimes simmer overnight before the migraine appears, but sometimes they work in tandem. If you have migraines with aura, the journal can help you pinpoint subtle auras that can give you time to intervene and possibly stop an oncoming migraine in its tracks.
